Our strategic approach
How CIII Uganda Builds Sustainable Impact
CIII Uganda’s five-year strategic plan (2026–2030) is delivered through five institutional pillars that work alongside our direct community projects
Institution Image & Publicity
We build CIII's reputation through transparent communication of our mission, values, and results - using social media, traditional media, public events, and direct engagement with development partners, government offices, and like-minded organisations. Our website serves as the central platform for sharing a comprehensive view of our work.
Institutional Capacity Building
We strengthen our ability to deliver by investing in staff skills through training and mentorship, building partnerships with stakeholders, and maintaining a flexible management system that functions reliably even in the absence of any single team member. This includes mobilising material and financial resources from development partners.
Private Sector Mobilisation & Engagement
We work with the private sector, particularly around opportunities created by the oil and gas industry and infrastructure development - to encourage responsible business practices, including empowering the informal sector, building self-employment among youth and women, and offering Technical Management Agency (TMA) services.
Mentorship Programme
Our mentorship network connects youth, both in school and transitioning into the workforce- with experienced mentors who provide inspiration, identify opportunities, pass on practical skills, and support personal development including goal-setting and conflict management.
Prototype Development (Think Tank Initiative)
Staff and mentors work with mentees to generate, nurture, and pilot ideas into innovative enterprises across fields like agriculture and business. This programme also convenes diverse experts under our Think Tank Initiative to collaboratively solve pressing development challenges.
CIII Agro-Fertiliser
100% bio fertiliser from urine and crop vegetation. Early results show up to 50% increase in farm output. Positioned to revolutionise agricultural productivity in Uganda.

Youth to be mentored over 2 years
We started CIII Uganda because we believed every young person carries an idea powerful enough to transform their community. Today, with 490 green jobs created and over 600 youth impacted, we're proving that belief was right - one mentorship session, one enterprise, one tree at a time.
